Samsung Unveils the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6: Look Price, Specification

On Wednesday, Samsung Electronics unveiled the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at its latest Galaxy Unpacked event. These new models represent the latest in foldable technology, featuring significant advancements and enhancements over their predecessors. With a focus on integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities and robust hardware, these devices are set to make a mark in the foldable smartphone market.

 

Advanced AI Features and Powerful Performance

Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 come with support for Samsung’s Galaxy AI features as well as Google’s Circle to Search feature and Gemini AI chatbot. These AI integrations aim to enhance user experience by offering smarter, more intuitive interactions. At the heart of these devices is the custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, ensuring powerful performance and efficient multitasking.

In an unprecedented move, Samsung has committed to providing seven years of Android OS and security updates for both devices, highlighting the company’s focus on long-term customer satisfaction and device longevity.

 

Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available starting at $1,899 (approximately Rs. 1,58,600) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For those requiring more storage, there are 512GB and 1TB variants priced at $2,019 (roughly Rs. 1,68,600) and $2,259 (about Rs. 1,88,700), respectively.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes in a 12GB + 256GB configuration priced at $1,099 (roughly Rs. 91,800), with a higher storage variant of 512GB priced at $1,219 (about Rs. 1,01,800).

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is offered in Navy, Pink, and Silver Shadow, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is available in Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow, and Yellow. Additionally, customers purchasing from Samsung’s online store can choose exclusive colors: Crafted Black and White for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Crafted Black, White, and Peach for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Pre-orders for both models are now open, and they will officially hit the shelves on July 24.

 

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a dual-SIM handset that runs on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 on top. It boasts a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy Mobile Platform from Qualcomm, paired with 12GB of RAM.
